The sickness struck abou 2:15am. i looked and felt like bogart having a malarial seizure in the "african queen". hot cold wet dry,the leeches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! although i must admit katy hepburn looked quite fetching as we tumbled over victoria falls. i awoke in my bedroom. the aliens in the basement kept firing their proton blasters,and then turning them back off. on off on off . the house would warm up then cool down. up down up down....the wily bastards! although i had sprayed myself with w d 40 and was wearing a large aluminum foil hat, i think they knew where i was. rewired my cellphone to shoot alpha particles. stried it on snoozer and buddy, they went right to sleep. lucky dogs. have to go, the small monkey cranking my generator is demanding food. the ungrateful hoople! to sleep, perchance to dream. k ep cr nki g you simian philistine! we r lo ing po er....the've won!

So here's the deal gang. It's cold, gray, nasty, generally depressing. You need a tropical vacation, but don't have the money.
The quick, cheap substitute?
Turn up the heat. Put some sand on the kitchen floor. Fix yourself an adult beverage [preferably with a paper umbrella in it], and put on your swimsuit.
Now, slip a copy of my “Island Song” in your favorite player and have a few more beverages!
Is it a 7 day Caribbean cruise? Of course not. But if the song is loud enough, and the drinks are strong enough, you can close your eyes and "Have a little fun in the sun"!
